Sushil Wadhwa has always been an entrepreneur. He started Platinum, a major player in the MICE segment as a three-man show with a humble beginning in 2002. It says a lot for his business and visionary skills that today the company is a leading MICE player and has large number of premium clients like ABN AMRO, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, HLL, Reliance Group to name a few.
Sushil has been instrumental thereby in transforming Platinum into diversified, systems driven leading MICE house with a great international reputation. He believes in providing quality work to his clients. His motto is to create experiences beyond the extraordinary. His ambition and vision has been the guiding force for Platinum.
He started his career assisting his father in their family owned restaurant business and from there he moved on into the corporate world with processed food industry, Engineering and textile industry. The diverse experience sharpened his entrepreneurial skills, and it was after this that he found his true calling and went ahead to start Platinum, a company devoted to helping corporates enhance their performance through better relations with their clients, staff and suppliers.
Sushil Wadhwa graduated in Hotel Management from IHMCTAN (Mumbai), one of the finest institutes in Asia. He lends his voice to several institutions that represent the MICE segment internationally. He has to his credit, the honor of being the first Indian to be a part of the Starwood MICE Board, Asia-Pacific region. He is a member with Australian Conferences & Events Bureau (ACEB), Society of Incentive & Travel Executives (SITE) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI)

An MBA graduate from NMIMS and an M.Com along with a stint at Chartered Accountancy he found his calling in Event Management industry. He was passionate about events from his college days at NM College of Commerce and Economics where he was honoured with the title of "Best Organizer" two years in a row. On graduating he started pursuing a career in Chartered Accountancy & was working with Ernst & Young. It was during this time that he became a trustee & president of a Youth Trust which was actively involved in organizing events for youth.
During his experience of organization events he along with his group of peers realized the need to organize the much scattered and unorganized events field. To further this he and his colleagues came up with this whole new concept of establishing an Event Management Institution which led to the birth of National Institute of Event Management (NIEM) first one of its type in Asia, of which he was the co-founder. The institute was an instant success as he saw an average of 300 - 400 students graduating every year and the industry getting more organized. However his passion was to be at the helm of organizing and hence he joined Platinum as part of the starting Leadership Team.
He has more than 12 years of experience in the events industry and has been a part of very large events like Filmfare, Femina and so on. He has personally overseen and execution of more than 500 events so far in more than 25 countries. His passion for travel & events has taken him around the world. His contribution in streamlining operations & a continuous innovative mind with a huge appetite for creativity has played an important role in the success of Platinum.
Malti Wadhwa has always been the pillar of strength behind Platinum. She started Platinum, along with Sushil Wadhwa in 2002. The Key behind the success of any company it is strong HR policies, meticulous administration procedures and deep understanding of finance. Malti Wadhwa has her expertise in the above-mentioned fields.
Malti Wadhwa has taken Platinum to the next level. She has been instrumental in introducing strong procedures in the company due to which Platinum is already ISO certified company now.
Malti Wadhwa did a specialized course from IHMCTAN (Mumbai), one of the finest institutes in Asia. Malti Wadhwa being fond of children started her career as a teacher in a play school in Mumbai for 4 years and slowly moved on to the world of MICE.
